Cal Williams will begin his tenure as BDG's first Advisory Board Chairman beginning September 8th, 2026

A career built on service and steady leadership

Cal’s commitment to service began in the United States Marine Corps, during the Vietnam era, 1964-1968, where he developed the discipline and sense of duty that would guide the rest of his career.

He later joined United Parcel Service (UPS), building a career that spanned more than three decades. From 1968 to 2004, Cal managed both Air and Ground Operations, HR Workforce Planning, and Talent Acquisition teams for the UPS Northeast District.

Over the past 22 years, Cal has been a valued member of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. As a Senior Director, his work supported corporate fundraising, workplace giving campaigns, labor relations, and corporate stewardship programs while maintaining a focus on community relations.

Cal’s community involvement also includes over 33 years of service with the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce as a Board Member, where he chairs the Government Affairs Committee, and the Merrimack Valley Workforce Investment Board (PIC), where he has chaired the Merrimack Valley Youth Council for the past 27 years. His expertise in connecting people, institutions, and community priorities will be his primary focus at BDG as part of the company's planned expansion over the next several years.

We are thrilled to welcome Cal and are eagerly anticipating his leadership. His extraordinary skill set and tireless dedication to the community embody the values we are proud to uphold. Welcome to the team, Cal!
